In 1988 Ewald Bacher started his own business. The company was founded as a civil law company in a rented company building in Rietheim-Weilheim.
With this step the foundation stone for today’s BENTEC Endoscopy GmbH was laid.
One year after the company formation and after first successes in this business, the first employee recruitment took place. This decision was an important step – from entrepreneur to employer.
In 1990 the company was converted to a limited liability company.
In 1993 the company moved to its own new building in Rietheim-Weilheim with an area of around 500 m2. The new building enabled the employement of new workers – the „Bacher-team“ growed again.
Five years after the construction and opening of the own company building, the production area expanded to 1,000 m2. The number of employees increased to 14 people.
The company was expanding to a total of 2000 m2 and the number of employees increased to 35 workers. With this building extension the production area was doubled again in order to be optimally prepared for upcoming projects and challenges.
The descendants Desirée Bacher-Zwick and Bastian Bacher became members of the management team of the company. With this step the family company is facing the challenges of the medical technology with renewed vigor.
As a further step on the way to the future, the name of “Ewald Bacher Medizintechnik GmbH” changed to “BENTEC Endoscopy GmbH”. This change goes hand in hand with a comprehensive modernization of our corporate identity.
